Editing
For an overview of how to make MediaWiki pages, have a look at the Wikipedia cheat sheet. Also, when making an edit, give a summary for the edit as well, and use the preview function to check your edits before submitting them.
Rules
There are a few simple rules to keep the wiki organized. These rules are explained below.
Relevancy
The articles should be about otherkin, spirituality and related topics. We're not Wikipedia, and are not trying to be an all-encompassing encyclopedia. If an article has no relevance at all, don't make an article about it.
Advertisements
When writing an article about e.g. a site or a person, do not make the article sound like an advertisement for that person. See also the Neutral point of view below.
Neutral point of view
When writing articles, these should be written from a neutral point of view, i.e. no personal opinions should be present in the article. Of course, with the topics in this wiki, there will be items that are based purely on opinions of different persons. But even in this case it is still possible to write a neutral article.
Abuse
The wiki is editable by all who have an account, and creating and improving articles is encouraged. Do not edit articles to attack people or ideas, or abuse this in other ways.
Talk
When you post a message on the talk-pages, always remember to add your signature. Your signature will automatically be added if you add --~~~~ at the end of your message. There is also a button ontop of the edit-window that automatically adds your signature.
